Description Chika 2024-11-03 07:48:39 UTC
Description:
Undocking the toolbar in standard toolbar or Single toolbar UI overlaps the toolbar menu.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Click View > User Interface…
3. Select Standard Toolbar > Apply to All or Apply to Writer
4. Click Close
5. Make sure that there are at least 2 line tool bars (Add from View > Toolbars if not)
6. Hover over the toolbar area on the top and right click
7. Select “Undock Toolbar” from the submenu
* Observe if the tool bar is undocked without overlapping

Workaround:
- Quit the app and reopen
> This will open the doc with the selected toolbar properly undocked without overlapping

Or

- Click View > Toolbars > Lock Toolbars > Will be asked to restart now or later > select Restart Later
- Quit the app and reopen
> This will show all of the toolbar option to be selectable and movable manually (notice there are 6 vertical dots on the left side of each toolbar)

Observed this in both dev and master builds - attached the screenshots, as well.

Can't confirm on Windows builds. Undocked TB (once position is unlocked) float over the UI and don't overlay other TB unless dragged to that position where they have a tendency to append to a TB already in that slot.
