Hello,

Thank you for the report.

I observe the same result in versions 24.8.2.1 and 24.2.7.2, as well.
I will be assigning this to the UX team for further discussion and consideration.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open Calc
2) Right click on the sheet tab
3) Select “Tab Color…”
4) Select a color > OK
5) Add another tab by clicking on “+” icon
6) Right click on the newly added sheet tab
7) Select “Tab Color…”
* Notice that there is no “Recent Colors” in Calc. In Excel, there is “Recent Colors” and the color selected at step 4 is listed

The version I used:

Version: 24.8.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 0f794b6e29741098670a3b95d60478a65d05ef13
CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 13.6.3; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Version: 24.2.7.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: ee3885777aa7032db5a9b65deec9457448a91162
CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 13.6.3; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Sincerely,

Chika

Here is another problem with the same dialog:

spreadsheet tabs do not indicate its personalized color

It would be good to discuss at the same time.

Sure, it would be appropriate to have the default color picker on this control as well.
