Description: The attached file does not always have a scrollbar that works immediately after launch. When an error occurs, the scrolling itself is performed, but the slider remains in its initial position. The problem persists until any click in the application area or switching to another window and returning to Writer. Sometimes the problem is also accompanied by a crash of LO when closing the window. The problem occurs only with the gtk3 plugin, does not reproduce on kf5 and gen. It still persists on the current master (We checked about two weeks ago). The exact commit causing the problem was not identified due to some issues with build dependencies, but the regression occurs somewhere after 7.4 (there is no bug on 7.4.7, but it already exists on 7.5. Visually, the scrollbars look different for gtk3 between these two versions). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Attached File in Writer with VCL gtk3 2. Try moving the slider on the scrollbar with the mouse Actual Results: The slider does not move, but the position in the document changes Expected Results: The slider moves Reproducible: Sometimes User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Still repro on: Version: 25.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 774275231294b8b8f41024cb1d5216bbe3f23aba CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded

(In reply to m_a_riosv from comment #2) > Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode The bug still reproduces in safe mode (when the tip of the day is disabled, closing it has the same effect as clicking in the application area) > Version: 25.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community > Build ID: 8dd533aa2c71e80f50a292b07660fb5021716f38 > CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 26100); UI render: > Skia/Raster; VCL: win > Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US > Calc: CL threaded To clarify - the bug affects only VCL gtk3, so we set the "OS" to "Linux (All)" when creating. We have now checked the behavior on Debian 12, there is no problem on the version from the repository (7.4.7), the problem is reproduced on the official build 7.6, installed about half a year ago
It works fine when the sidebar is displayed. Reproduced when the sidebar is not displayed. It never crashed.
