On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today or with LO Debian package 24.8.2, I don't reproduce this. Do you reproduce this with a brand new file or only with a specific file? Could you try https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps#Corrupted_user_profile ?
Pretty confident this is bug 163325. Can you confirm that it is indeed linked to the dialog's Preview being turned on? Do you get a crash report? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 163325 ***
