Using the app on a Mac with several virtual desktops, the File Save dialog does not appear on top of the open application, but rather, appears on a different desktop, causing one to search for it.
I believe this occurs, regardless of the module used.
Could you perhaps post a screen capture of what you are describing?
The description is quite clear and the matter is simple, so I don't see why a screenshot would be needed. Back to unconfirmed.
Additional context: it appears that if the module is started in one Mac virtual desktop, then moved to a different desktop, the save as dialog appears on the original desktop. If the module is not moved, the save as dialog appears in front of the module, as expected. This is a matter of not tracking the virtual desktop from which the save as is called. (Might not be possible...)
Cannot reproduce (macOS 12.7.4, LibreOffice 25.8.4). I open LibreOffice on desktop 1, move it to desktop 2, go to File > Save As, and the dialog appears on desktop 2 as expected.
@David: can you retest if this still happens with LO 25.8.4? https://libreoffice.org/download/download-libreoffice/
