Created attachment 197929 [details] Scroll down in this document - won't work since LO 7.5 Open the attached document. Try to scroll to the end of the document. Does work well up to LO 7.4.7.2, fails since LO 7.5.*, also LO 24.8.4.1 Remove all text content (in LO 7.4.7.2) and add only returns up to page 2. Scrolling to page 2 is now possible with LO 24.8.4.1. Might be a reason, but older versions will ignore: There are many hidden frames and images in the document, which blow up the document. We shouldn't discuss about formatting here … Expected behavior: LO should scroll to next page like it has been working in older versions of LO or is still working with AOO.
No issue for me with Version: 24.8.4.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 1be9007f5d86a3741c366527d13e2970cbeef057 CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 26100); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded Maybe try in safe mode to verify that it is not a problem with some option.
Tested this: Downloaded the file. Started LO in save mode. Opened the document. Started to scroll → Scrollbar moves down but document doesn't scroll. Version: 24.8.4.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 1be9007f5d86a3741c366527d13e2970cbeef057 CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE Calc: threaded This buggy behavior has been reported to me from Version: 24.8.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 480(Build:2) CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE Ubuntu package version: 4:24.8.3~rc2-0ubuntu0.24.04.1~lo1 Calc: threaded So I will set the "Hardware" to "Linux"
I also was not able to reproduce this. Version: 24.8.3.2 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 48a6bac9e7e268aeb4c3483fcf825c94556d9f92 CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 14.5; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Works fine for me. Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 24.8.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 480(Build:2) CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.11; UI render: default; VCL: kf6 (cairo+wayland) Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: en-US 24.8.3-1 Calc: threaded Version: 25.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 2b8d794e448a7d3c573ff79cffe9decc8d960262 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.12; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
Don't know what is going wrong here. I set the mouse in the document ans scroll with mouse wheel and the page in the background doesn't move. Only the cursor moves up an down, but it also moves outside the page in the background. Renamed the user profile and started with a new profile → all the same. Then tested to set the page view to see 2 pages. Also changed the zoom factor. Here the default of the page is 140% when opening the document. Only changing the zoom factor won't show the document zooming. When zooming down and switch to show 2 pages it will suddenly zoom the page and I could go back to one page and scroll.

I set the mouse inside the document. Scroll down with the mouse. Scrollbar on the right also scrolls down, but the document doesn't. Cursor scrolls over the document without a showing a real position in the document. It looks like the background of the document won't be moved. This had been reported to me from another person. Isn't my own document I uploaded. Mouse works fine in every other document.
Created attachment 198557 [details] Shows what is happening here while scrolling down. Cursor is set in the header of first page. Scrolling down shows always repeating "First Page Header" and then "Header (First Page)".
