Description emanuelbarros 2024-12-07 09:25:20 UTC
Description:
In a Writer document that is justified. So the lines are not supposed to go out of limits. If i start deleting one line the line goes to the right out of the document. I made a small gif to show whats doing. I don't know if i can put URL here i will out some spaces: https :// giphy.com /gifs/7xx2Z4VUZPiAYZJrOB

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Justified document
2.Start deleting a line (or writing)
3.The line goes out of limits

Actual Results:
The lines goes out of limits. And i can't see the full length of the line.

Expected Results:
I expect the document to be justified all the time and all lines stays inside the limits

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
This is really a big problem. Because i can't see all the text and then i assume that was away. And if i delete a line i'm deleting more text that i wanted to delete. This don't happens all the time. And is only in this version. I use LibreOffice for work from the last 10 year or more.

I will downgrade to an older version to avoid problems in my documents. Until this is fixed.

In the debug version of LibreOffice I am getting:
warn:legacy.osl:3597:3597:sw/source/core/text/txttab.cxx:364: SwTabPortion::PreFormat: rush hour

Another thing that I tried is to remove all the manual formatting from the text: you can test that with just one paragraph.

Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+M.

After that the text behave normally, but of course the text is looking different, but can be adjusted to look similar to before.

Yes. crtl-a + crtl-m solves the issue.

But this will but a bit of a pain to do in all documents. This are official documents for the court and they need to have a specific space between lines. ---- at the end of each paragraph, etc...

Thanks

If you create a style, special for this, would make your job easier.
Ctrl+M on each paragraph, than apply a style imported from a template:
