Created attachment 198095 [details] Screenshot of Calc window So, I just opened a Calc document, and magically - the sidebar, and the sidebar deck selector, were detached, in a non-model window of their own, on top of the middle of my Calc window. Huh? ... I definitely did not do this in previous sessions. I don't understand how this happens :-(
Have you tried the "hamburger menu" (the icon with three horizontal lines at the top-right of your detached sidebar window) and the "Dock" entry? The most likely reason is that you accidentally triggered the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+F10 by default).

Yes, and that works. > The most likely reason is that you accidentally triggered the keyboard > shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+F10 by default). I am 100% certain I did not press anything like that; plus, the undocked state was what I got when starting the app - without pressing any keys. I just double-clicked a Calc document.
This doesn't seem reproducible and was a one-time glitch?
(In reply to Buovjaga from comment #3) > This doesn't seem reproducible and was a one-time glitch? I don't play with the sidebar so much, so it was one time out of not so many times. But - yes, haven't seen this again. I won't challenge a closure, if you decide to close, although I doubt this has actually been fixed.
It can always be revisited, if reproducible steps are found.
