If I have non-trivial filtering applied on multiple columns in an autofiltered area, it seems I have no simple means of clearing these filters from all columns - other than clicking the AutoFilter button, which removes the autofilter. Now, often, this is not a problem, if the area you want to autofilter is such, that just pressing AutoFilter again will "do the right thing". But sometimes, you may have needed to define that more carefully, in which case the remove-and-recreate autofilter doesn't do what you wanted. Specifically, I might expect such an option to appear in/as one or more of the following: 1. In the drop-down menu of column buttons (which have "Clear Filter" for their own column separately from the others). 2. As a command one can put on the toolbar (not necessarily available by default); it would be grayed out if no filter is currently active in the autofilter range(s) involving the active cell(s). 3. In the context menu of any cell in the autofilter range.
Filter by condition > Standard filter > Clear
(In reply to m_a_riosv from comment #1) > Filter by condition > Standard filter > Clear * That only works on columns which themselves are filtered. When the filter is on another column, it does nothing AFAICT. * That's already quite inaccessible... But - there is actually Data > More Filters > Reset Filter. That's not very intuitive to find (why would I look under "more filters"? If it's more kinds of filters, I don't care; and if it's "filter more", then I want the opposite). There is an UNO command for that, but only advanced users would notice the option of putting that on the toolbar, plus: * It has no button icon! * It is easy to confuse: There's "Reset Filter" and "Rester Filter/Sort".
Please share an example with "multiple columns in an autofiltered area".
