Try to reset user profile: Help - Restart in Safe Mode. See more here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile
I tested it also with new user profile. The same behavior also in 25.8 dev version.
In 25.8 it is named now View - Bounderies. It is working for me.
Yes, you are right. In 25.8 this can be solved by View > Boundaries, but in 25.2.0.1 there is no such command.
Created attachment 198247 [details] screenshot In 25.2 it is also named View - Bounderies. It is working for me, also in this version. See screenshot.

Heiko, please, can you take a look here?
Can't confirm. The View -> Boundaries toggle works for me also on Windows with tb73 build of 25.2.0 beta1+, empty table no border shows its boundaries. Version: 25.2.0.1.0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 468d47bdf44a772e989a0adbeb5bb097e3cb4f31 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (10.0 build 19045); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
Andis, try to reset user profile on 25.2.

Yes, with new profile I can see View > Boundaries. And it helps to get back table boundaries. I don't want to loose my old profile, too many customizations, macros and other valuable solutions, which I already forgot. Is there any way to solve this in existing profile?
Some information about how to create a copy of your user profile is here, in order not to lose it. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile Also, you can reinstall them all, one by one, but you need to remember what customization you have done. Anyway, I do a fresh install all times, because a lot of changes happened here and there, and they could conflict with installed extensions and settings. I will close this bug, as this is solved by resetting user profile.
Thanks for advice! I found solution for this issue. In advanced settings find Org.openoffice.Office.Writer > ShowBoundaries and set it to true. After restart of Libreoffice table borders are visible. Then in Tools > Customize > Menus find Show Boundaries and add it to LibreOffice Writer View menu, and remove table and text boundaries commands from view menus. Then you can control behavior of this command.

Then you can control behavior of this command. Yes that will manually "migrate" a <= 24.8 profile to a >= 25.2 user profile, but in general it is more stable to create a new clean profile when crossing major build release bounds.
