Description: If I do "convert text to table" in RTL mode and then try to add a border to the table, the left side border (at the "end" of the RTL table) cannot be added. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure Complex Text Layout is on. Set to RTL mode. 2. Type a;b;c. 3. Select the text a;b;c. 4. Go to Table | Convert Text to Table. Set "Separate Text At" to Semicolons. Hit OK. 5. Put the cursor in the table you just created. Right-click and select Table Properties | Borders. Under Line Arrangement, select any of the presets that have an outside border. Hit OK. 6. Notice that the left-hand border doesn't exist. 7. Select the entire table. Right-Click | Table Properties | Borders. Under Line Arrangement | User-defined, notice that the left-hand border isn't selected. Select it and hit OK. 8. Notice that the left-hand border still doesn't exist. Actual Results: Left-hand border isn't created and can't be added. Expected Results: Left-hand border should have been created. (In reply to mikhail.machine from comment #2) I noticed that you used Windows, so I just tried in a fresh install of 25.2.4.3 in my Windows 11 VM, and encountered the same problem. Are you sure you followed all of the steps, especially the crucial step to use RTL mode? Can you attach a video demonstrating these steps working on your system? Thank you. Here is the information on the Windows install that also demonstrated the problem: Version: 25.2.4.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 33e196637044ead23f5c3226cde09b47731f7e27 CPU threads: 6; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 22631); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: threaded > Hello William Friedman, > > I cannot confirm that the bug is present in: > > Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community > Build ID: 898d5d470e24a55556f2fb244fec24df33ba8855 > CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: > win > Locale: en-US (en_FI); UI: en-US > Calc: threaded > > Version: 24.8.7.0.0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community > Build ID: 95dcf9b37e763d61ff08300820eed45216c0c6e1 > CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (10.0 build 19045); UI render: > Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win > Locale: en-US (en_FI); UI: en-US > Calc: threaded > > Version: 25.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community > Build ID: 7370d4be9e3cf6031a51beef54ff3bda878e3fac > CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (10.0 build 19045); UI render: > Skia/Raster; VCL: win > Locale: en-US (en_FI); UI: en-US > Calc: threaded
