Description: Using 28.8.4, uninstalled it and installed 28.8.3, which I had been using, same problem. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load LibreOffice 2. 3. Actual Results: Pop-up for Updater.exe Choosing either Yes or No has no effect, pop-up reappears when app reloads Expected Results: As above Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Loaded Writer or anything
Please test the repair option on the system. Add & remove programs.
Tried that first then uninstalled, restarted PC and reinstalled both latest and previous releases, still having same issue (Pop-up for permission for Updater.exe)
Please take a look at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile Reinstall doesn't remove user profile, test with a clean one, can help.
There is no start menu entry 'LibreOffice (Safe Mode)' Tried starting in Safe mode in command line as per instructions; libreoffice --safe-mode Received the following; 'libreoffice' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
You need to run it in the folder where the program is. Something like: C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program
Cannot locate the user profile in Appdata. Used the search %APPDATA%\libreoffice\4 and %APPDATA%\libreoffice in File Explorer Both return no results
Regarding last post, Searched under my User name and 'Users'
