hi, The goal would be to toggle hide toolbars, all of them like in Full Screen mode... Using styles means that most of the times, while actually writing a text, you'll use body text header 1, header 2 and 3 and 4 end notes And these don't need you to have all your toolbars on... ::::: Full Screen view is ALMOST a good solution, but you can't toggle the sidebar, which means you're cut off from menus... and when you switch back, the screen shakes and jumps and all :) ::::: So, the best solution would be a command, to which we could assign a command key, like F12 (or whatever)... This command should hide all toolbars including the menubar if it is present. However this command should leave the sidebar as it is. /// NOTE: Workarounds exist, but why not have a clean and dedicated solution that could be available for anyone? It would be great help for anyone using Writer for the first time, too :) It would add a LOT to the "user experience"... Writing would be a calm and cool experience, without the noise of the city, without the unnecessary menu bars. This would make WRITER a very-very good working environment for writing.. * * * thank you for developing Libreoffice and WRITER * * * *
