Believe that is the macOS PressAndHold app [1] (alternative to Deadkey or full IME implementation). Patrick had implemented support at 7.5 release with https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/144630 Has the macOS app changed somehow? We need to know the macOS build and locale you're working with, and the LibreOffice details from Help -> About. Otherwise assume your ApplePressAndHold is enabled and functioning with other editors? So the issue is that you get both the "i" from the initial longpress launch of the applet, and the "í" on selection of the '2' item. =-ref-= [1] https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/enter-characters-with-accent-marks-on-mac-mh27474/13.0/mac/13.0
Correct, it looks like "ií". I have MacOS sequoia 15.3. I was on a previous version of libreoffice when this was happening. I usually update all my apps every week but the last time I updated libreoffice was roughly one month ago. last night before I went to sleep I updated to the latest version and this bug is no longer happening. Sorry to waste your time.
No problem, thanks for being active.
