Description Telesto 2025-02-03 18:53:03 UTC
Description:
Making Add Text Along Path more accessible by adding it to the sidebar

Steps to Reproduce:
Spin-off from bug 165008 (another approach)

1. Open Draw
2. Draw an line (with arrow head) point to some object from left and right side
3. Add some text label

Screencast: attachment 198937 [details]

Actual Results:
When drawing an line from Right to Left causes the text to be upside-down. The dialog controlling the position of the label on a line is rather hidden.

Expected Results:
Adding some of the feature to the sidebar make sense, to me at least

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Not a fan of adding a lot to the sidebar. And to make the user aware of this feature we must not hide it - but the TAP function is only available in special situations (curve and text are selected at the same time).
