Description: I just updated to 25.2.0.3 from 24.8. This now has an option to use the system theme, which in my case is dark mode. I opened an existing calc spreadsheet, previously with white cells and black text, and it displayed as dark grey cells with black text. I never actually picked a text colour for this spreadsheet, so I don't know if the black text was black text or some automatic value. Anyroad, I switched to light mode and did my work, with black text on white cells. So for this report, I switched back to "system", closed and reopened the spreadsheet, and this time I got white cells, black text, and dark scrollbars and pull-down tools. I suspect some work is required on the application theming. Steps to Reproduce: I cannot reproduce the black on dark grey, but the dark scrollbars are the same very time I open it Actual Results: .. Expected Results: .. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: I will upload some screen grabs after submitting this

Simply install an Appearance theme (Tools -> Options -> Appearance, the puzzle piece icon) and use that rather than the default Automatic. The "Light Application Colors" should get you functional, but try the others offered. While Manipulating the "Automatic" appearance theme has been corrected for the 25.8 release.
