Description jan d 2025-02-09 17:35:26 UTC
Description:
Current styles on windows use a gradient, which is a dated style on windows (the last MS Office using it was 2010, I think). This makes LO UI on windows look old and incoherent.

Steps to Reproduce:
Open Writer or Calc and look at the menu/toolbars at the top of the application

Actual Results:
The area of the menu/toolbars has a slight gradient from #FEFEFE (top) to #F1F1F1 (bottom)

Expected Results:
The background should (at least from my color picking on screenshots) be a consistent #F3F3F3.

Reproducible: Always

The automatic colors have changed in LibreOffice 25.2. And light and dark scheme are supported. And you can load other predefined scheme. And you can adapt the scheme to your preferred colors. Please try the new abilities with a daily build. A daily build can be installed along side a regular build without interfering. https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/
