Description Radish 2025-02-10 01:18:41 UTC
The Issue: if I open a window to a document using the Quickstarter GUI then the Window opens at a size and position that is nothing like I would like things to be — I am forced into manually resizing and positioning the window. I would like the window size and position generated by Quickstarter to replicate the last window size and position that I last used for each component of LibreOffice (Writer, Calc, Draw, etc.).

I would really like to use the Quickstarter GUI, it offers some excellent functionality, but, for this reason, and this reason alone, I never use it. Which is a great pity for such a potentially useful feature of LibreOffice.

Please, please enable this feature request.

P.S. In case I'm not being clear it would be great if the window size and position was replicated as requested above when using the Quickstarter to "Create:" a new document of any type as well.

P.P.S. In my above two posts I incorrectly refer to the LibreOffice 'Start Centre' as being the 'Quickstarter'. So please substitute so that my request makes sense.
