starting from the version 25.2 when I copy some arabic words from some sources like freifox url bar I get this result: بسم الله it should gives: بسم الله Version: 25.2.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 520(Build:3) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.12; UI render: default; VCL: kf6 (cairo+wayland) Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US 25.2.0-1 Calc: threaded
I can't reproduce it in Version: 25.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 7da1497aa462e2b719aa9b308a749caf7b9a19b1 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Could you please share the source of the text ?
an example of that source: in Firefox 135 if write something in the address bar like: بسم الله and then copy that text and past it to LibreOffice writer i get that symbols. i have a software in Arabic which i works with and i need to copy from it and i also get the same problem, but i gave Firefox as example as it is easy to reproduce.
i have tested that with Version: 25.8.0.0.alpha0+ and the problem is not occuring.
