Description Shantanu 2025-02-14 09:04:37 UTC
Description:
if one word is in custom (instead of the main) dictionary then the hyphenated word is considered incorrect.

Steps to Reproduce:
Type these 2 lines:
mancy based
mancy-based

Right click on the first word on the first line "mancy" and add it to dictionary.

Actual Results:
The word on second line (mancy-based) is still considered incorrect.

Expected Results:
The word on second line should not have a red underline (consider correct because both the words on the left and right side of the hyphen are correct)

Reproducible: Always

Hello Shantanu,

Thank you for reporting the bug.
Did you tried add to the dictionary hyphenated word in full?
Comment 2 Shantanu 2025-02-17 02:50:01 UTC
No. Because the second half of the word is unpredictable. It can be anything - for e.g. mancy-based or mancy-replied etc.
