Description: I am using a MacBook Pro with an M1 chip running Sonoma 14.1.2, and whenever I try to start dictating, LibreOffice Writer crashes within 3-5 dictated words (aka almost instantly). This has happened several times in a row, always within approximately 3-5 words of starting dictation. It is therefore impossible to use LibreOffice Writer for dictating documents. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press the FN key twice to start dictation 2. Start speaking dictation 3. LibreOffice Writer crashes nearly instantly Actual Results: LibreOffice Writer crashes, restarts, I attempt to start dictating again, and LibreOffice Writer crashes again. Expected Results: I expected the program NOT to crash. I would like to use the program and not have it crash. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I use a USB wireless microphone for dictation, in case that matters.
@Patrick, crash during dictation maybe related to work on bug 163764 and its tweak for bug 164564, a return of AOo i106901 when runing on 14.1.2?
I cannot reproduce this bug. Launched 25.2.0.3, opened a new Writer document, press Fn key twice, speak a few sentences, and the text appears in the document for me: Version: 25.2.0.3 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: e1cf4a87eb02d755bce1a01209907ea5ddc8f069 CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 15.3.1; UI render: Skia/Metal; VCL: osx Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded

I don't use MacOS, but I decided to test using Windows 11 and writer does not crash.
