sample document with table - the bottom lines are without table border - its limits do not show at all

Issue in LO-writer 25.2.x with previously created text documents (odt). 
Table boundaries have vanished in those documents when tables has no borderlines.
In previous versions (v24 and below) the limits of the document were always shown as long as the feature was enabled in the settings.

Can not confirm.

Borders have been adjusted at 25.2 for bug 163856 and bug 74386. It is noted in release notes [1]

There are two settings to review in your UI:

1. View -> Boundaries (a simple UI element toggle).

2. Tools -> Options -> Writer -> Formatting Aids 'Object Boundaries' radio buttons either 'Border Outline' or 'Crop Marks', default is Crop Marks now, but Border Outline was the old behavior that still provides the boundaries around Table Cells without borderlines. Change it back if you desire the full non-printing boundaries around your table cells.
