Description alan.murrayrust 2025-03-09 12:26:42 UTC
Description:
Trying to create a smooth fade in Slide transition. The default type of fade is 'Through Black' but any attempt to use the drop down to select 'Smoothly' results in the slide edit turning black and the program hanging. The only exit is to close Libre Office.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open slide
2.Select 'Fade' icon in Slide Transitions panel
3.select 'Smoothly' from drop-down box below

Actual Results:
Edit panel turns completely black and hangs. I have waited for at least 10 seconds in case it is simply a delay to the operation, but in the past I have not had similar problems. The only exit has been to close the application.

Expected Results:
The application should have simply accepted the option selected.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
The file involved is quite large, currently at 155Mb and 200 slides, mainly with photographic images.

confirm these STR.

Issue is with making a change to the transition from the 'variant' list box for the transition.
