Description: I have a .pptx file. When I try to open this file, my pc open it in Writer instead of Impress. I have changed the setting of my device (win11) but nothing change. I tried both LibreOffice and OpenOffice, same thing happened. I have tried to open the file in impress by modifying the settings in windows and also by open with the "open with" option and I have tried to open the file from impress app (both from CTRL+O and taskbar>open file) but in all this three case windows open writer. I have also tried to delete the writer app, but same thing happened. I have also tried to do it with an older version taken from the drive of my older laptop (the motherboard is dead) who was under win 10 with which I have created this file 2 years ago. the concerned version are : -7.3.3.2 -24.8.5 -25.2.1 Actual Results: A .pptx open in writer Expected Results: I wand to open it on Impress Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: reddit links : https://www.reddit.com/r/libreoffice/comments/1ji2ob3/powerpoint_file_open_in_writer/ https://www.reddit.com/r/openoffice/comments/1ji2mwp/powerpoint_file_open_in_writer/

Version 25.2.1.2 Build ID: d3abf4aee5fd705e4a92bba33a32f40bc4e56f49 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 11 x86_64 UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US; UI: en-US Calc: threaded Can you please attach an example file where this happens? With my own .pptx files, it opens fine in Impress. Are you able to open the file within Impress by using the File menu?
