Description: When I wrote in a table in Writer a number like 0,001 (italian language), it shows me 0 without decimals. I'd like to see by default every decimals I digit in a table, thanks. Steps to Reproduce: 1. write in the cell's table 0,001 2. see 0 3. frustration Expected Results: 0,001 Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: show all the digit I put in the cell's table
You can go to Table - Format - and change the number of decimals.

I know, but it's annoying doing so, while I think the default behaviour should be to mantain the number written with all the decimals. In Word you have what you write in the cell, it doesn't dare rounding or trunking the number you just wrote for you.
For me it kept from 0.0001 the value 0.00, so it kept 2 decimals, which I think is a default one.
Version 25.2.1.2 Build ID: d3abf4aee5fd705e4a92bba33a32f40bc4e56f49 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 11 x86_64 UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US; UI: en-US Calc: threaded When testing, it rounded to two decimals for me as well. You can adjust the number format, which can be considered inconvenient, but I don't think this would be considered a bug. Leaving as unconfirmed.

Can't confirm the problem with Version: 25.2.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bbb074479178df812d175f709636b368952c2ce3 CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 26100); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL threaded In Number Format Dialog I have the following entry for Category "Numbers" by default: Format is standard and Decimal places is empty
(In reply to Giaki from comment #0) > Steps to Reproduce: > 1. write in the cell's table 0,001 > 2. see 0 > 3. frustration The steps seem to be incorrect. By default the format category is "All" and nothing happens to the number after changing cell focus. So you would need to explicitly format the cell/table anyway and thus define the desired decimal places. Please advise on what the proper steps would be to make it automatically format the cell as Number.
