Description Cameron 2025-04-10 16:08:13 UTC
Description:
Hi,

Colors are inverted on my LibreOffice Calc. I just discovered this issue after installing the latest update (25.2.2.2).

No change on my system device or display parameters. I did not have this bug before the update.

Here are the details:

Version: 25.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 7370d4be9e3cf6031a51beef54ff3bda878e3fac
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (10.0 build 19045); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR); UI: fr-FR
Calc: CL threaded

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Update to latest version
2.Open an existing file on Calc
3.

Actual Results:
Inverted colours linked to the app's settings (can't read text in cells that have been greyed permanently and cannot be changed). Background colour has been changed as well without me changing anything.
Bug occurs on every app theme (mine by default is Colibre).

Expected Results:
Cells in black, text greyed and impossibility to change colours.
Difficulty in identifying & reading greyed text.
Cannot use LibreOffice in this state.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Normal colours.

Tried installing previous version to see if the bug occurred only in the new version and yes : the 24.8.6.2 version is cleaned of that bug.

See release notes, at 25.2 release a new (somewhat unstable) Appearance theme has been implemented. Users are advised to go to Tools -> Options -> Appearance and install one of the Appearance theme extensions.

The offered 'Light Appearance Theme' was designed to give the prior > 24.8 build UI and document coloring.

Thanks for the answer. I'll stick to the 24.8.6.2 version for now until latest version is stable (can't spend too much time changing/reorganizing my preferences at the moment).
