Created attachment 200327 [details] Connecting database document with 3 visible tables and 3 hidden ones. This is not about filtering data. It is about Base menu:Tools>"Table Filter..." which allows hiding database tables, which is particularly useful when the Base document is connected to a spreadsheet document. Store the attached documents in one directory. The spreadsheet contains 3 sheets with English names "People", "Groups", "Reservations" plus 3 database ranges with German names "Studenten", "Gruppen", "Belegung". In the connected database document, I called menu:Tools>"Table Filter..." in order to hide away the English sheet names. These tables refer to the entire used areas of the respective sheets, which use to contain more data than the mere lists. The database ranges help to separate the lists from other sheet content. First issue: I had to call menu:View>"Refresh Tables" to effectively hide the tables, which should not be required for GUI interactions. Second issue: I'm not able to unhide the hidden tables because the dialog does not show them.

Work-around: 1. menu:Tools>"Filter Tables..." and uncheck the root element "All Tables" in the filter dialog. 2. menu:View>"Refresh Tables" 3. menu:Tools>"Filter Tables..." and check the root element "All Tables" in the filter dialog. 4. menu:View>"Refresh Tables"
