Description: I noticed AutoCorrect feature does not work well since some words substitution does not always work: e.g. in Localized Options there is an option to convert >> to ยป (that is already enabled by default) but is ignored. Fun thing: it works perfectly if I add it "manually" in the Replace list! PS: maybe an issue with localization, since I have a "mixed" system: English UI but Italian locale ?! Steps to Reproduce: 1. open Writer 2. type minus sign twice (<<) 3. press Space Actual Results: actual result: nothing happens Expected Results: expected result: double minus signs have to be converted into angle quote (guillemet) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guillemet] [https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/autocorrect-does-not-always-work/120947/2] --- Version: 25.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 520(Build:2) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.14; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: it-IT (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-GB 25.2.2-2 Calc: threaded

Works for me with Version: 25.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 356f916d0e7dbab7f871c3feb19c6e1292c2a2f5 CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-GB Calc: CL threaded Testing, it works with Spanish / Galician / German, but not with Italian. Although, Wiki include Italian in its usage. It would be good to check if this is officially the case for Italian.
