Description gabriel_nodet 2025-04-19 21:09:21 UTC
Description:
Until recently, when i "saved as", the folder that was opened by default was the same one as the one of the current document i'm working on.
Since very recently, this behaviour is broken, and now when i "save as", it opens the last folder where i saved a file, instead of the folder of currently opened file.
This is a huge problem and we need to restore the original behaviour.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a Libre Office Writer document ("A") in a folder ("1")
2.Open it and modify it
3.Click on "Save as" and save it in the same folder (1")
4.Create another Libre Office Writer document ("B") in another folder ("2")
5.Open it and modify it
6.Click on "Save as"

Actual Results:
it will then by default save it in folder "1"

Expected Results:
it should by default save it in folder "2"

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
This is a very recent problem (couple of days maximum). It used to work flawlessly for years.
This a huge issue because you often save your document to the wrong folder without knowing it, and when you go the original folder later on, you don't see the latest version of the document because you saved it somewhere else without knowing...
