Description Chuck Caldarale 2025-04-23 03:18:52 UTC
Description:
Impress 25.2.2.2 (also 25.2.3.1 pre-release) hangs when attempting to print notes and must be forcibly killed. The problem occurs in both normal and safe mode, but does not occur on the older 24.8.6.2 version.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached 2-page PrintTesting.odp file.
2. Select Print from the File menu.
3. Select Notes from the Document drop-down list.

Actual Results:
After a few seconds, the spinning beach ball appears, and LibreOffice is completely unresponsive. The Force Quit command of Activity Monitor (or kill -9) must be used to terminate the process.

Expected Results:
The prior version (24.8.6.2) displays the notes view in the preview sidebar immediately and prints successfully.

Reproducible: Always

Looking like the problem might be specific to ARM64.
Comment 5 Andrew Kopf 2025-05-13 21:39:37 UTC
It also prints notes without issue on Windows x64.
