Description: In LibreOffice version 24.8.3.2 (x86_64) (also 25.2.1) on Windows 11, it is currently not possible to fully disable automatic updates. I have attempted the following steps without success: Registry Modifications: I was unable to identify a reliable registry key that disables auto-updates. Any changes made had no effect. Disabling the LibreOfficeMaintenance Service: Although I can stop and disable this Windows service, LibreOffice prompts the user to reactivate it on every launch, making this workaround ineffective. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install 24.8.3.2 with disabled Auto-Update 2.Restart LibreOffice (sometimes it takes several tries) Actual Results: LibreOffice continuously enforces or reinstates auto-update functionality, with no effective way to opt out permanently. Expected Results: There should be a persistent method to disable automatic updates, either via GUI, registry, or configuration file. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 25.2.2.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 7370d4be9e3cf6031a51beef54ff3bda878e3fac CPU threads: 28; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 22631); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE Calc: threaded
