Description Pablo 2025-04-23 18:30:11 UTC
Description:
The attached PPTX has a text shape with text that exceed the shape width. In Impress the text is cut because it overflow to the right. In PowerPoint the overflow direction depends on the text alignment and direction.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached PPTX.
2. Compare the text in the top shape to PowerPoint.

Actual Results:
The text in the top shape is cut. Impress overflow the text to the right while using the left side of the shape as the starting point.

Expected Results:
The text in the top shape should overflow to the left and we should see all the text. The right side of the shape should be the starting position. Impress should extend the left side of the shape.

Reproducible: Always

I think the issue is with the size of the text box at importing.
