Description:
I downloaded v25; afterwards, I couldn't open ANY files. I tried to install the previous version, but had to unload 25 first. That proved impossible! There were several bad results. After wasting a whole day, I shut my computer down.
Today when I restarted my computer, everything was fixed! v25 was gone, so I downloaded v24 and everything is good.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.download v25
2.see the effect described above

see the effect described above

Expected Results:
normal computer useage

Thank you for posting. But since you've rolled back, nothing actionable here.

Should you again attempt an install of 25.2 (or future 25.8 release) and continue to have issues we'd need more details about your Windows system and your PC hardware.

We also need to know how the inability to open the files manifested itself: was there an error message when you opened a file (what was it)?
