Please test modifying/disable Skia, Menu>Tools>Options>LibreOffice>View

What is the screen resolution in the system?

Test updating the graphics driver directly from the vendor.

PDF with compressed images.

PDF has an image per page with a high resolution.

Attached the sample PDF with the images compressed with right-click / compress, as png (9).

Hi, thanks for taking a look at this.

While i do get the image is very high res and compressing it helps, i was wondering if i can apply filter to high resolution images. There are some edge cases where compression introduces artifacts (in the case of very detailed picture).

I was wondering if libreoffice should handle high resolution images

Thank you

I tested moving, rotating and shearing the images, but everything was instant. Are these operations slow for you or do you have other operations in mind I could try?
