After installing LibreOffice (Solus 4.7, Budgie) and keeping the default theme, the Calc formula bar had a solid black background. The only apparent fix is to change the system theme, which had broader implications. Can an entry be added specifically for the formula bar background in "Tools | Options | LibreOffice | Appearance | Customizations"?
Try changing the theme, apply and go back to the previous.
Yes, you can change the system theme, but that affects much more than just Calc or LibreOffice. If a specific entry can be added to only affect the Calc formula bar, it wouldn't impact applications and desktop elements outside of LibreOffice.
The LibreOffice theme. Menu>Tools>Options>LibreOffice>Appearance.
Tried that. Only LO theme out of the box is "Automatic". I can create a new theme, but that doesn't address the formula bar issue since there's no related Customization. Unless I'm missing something?
Is it any different with version 25.8? It received lots of tweaks to the appearance functionality.

The formula bar's background is consistent with the theme (light/dark) and entered text has appropriate contrast (white text on a black background and vice versa). I only tested the standard light and dark themes. Thanks for the great work!
