Thank you for reporting the bug. I can not reproduce the bug in either of the versions of LO below. Across dark, light, and system modes I'm seeing similar behavior. The cursor becomes visible only after typing the first character. If a cell is selected and then the input line is selected to add text, the cursor appears only in the input line. aer0a137: do you still see this in 25.8? If so, can you try with Help - Restart in safe mode and then Continue in safe mode?
