Actual Results: When hovering the mouse pointer between columns or rows in LibreOffice Calc to resize them, a very thin vertical or horizontal line appears. This line is hard to see, especially on high-resolution displays, dark backgrounds, or for users with visual impairments. There is no available setting to increase its thickness, contrast, or visibility. Expected Results: This is not a bug but an enhancement request. However, here is how to observe the issue: Open LibreOffice Calc. Move your mouse pointer to the border between two column headers (e.g., between column A and B). Notice that the resize pointer appears as a very thin line, which is difficult to see on high-resolution screens or for users with visual impairments. There is no setting to increase its thickness or contrast. Expected behavior: An option in the settings to increase the thickness or visibility of the resize pointer to improve accessibility and usability. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: This enhancement would benefit users working with high-resolution monitors, users with reduced vision, or those who spend long hours using spreadsheets. Increasing the visibility of the resize pointer would reduce eye strain and improve overall usability. Other office suites offer better visibility or customization options for such interface elements, and adding this feature would align LibreOffice with modern accessibility standards.

There is no setting to increase its thickness or contrast. tdf#160324 sounds like it were about the same topic and the width of the resize handle was already increased quite a bit int its context. It's more than "just a a very thin line" in my tests on Linux. What is your exact version information from "About" -> "LibreOffice"? Version: 25.8.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0b62b122cfed6b864f9dd613bd238474ad99dafe CPU threads: 32; OS: Linux 6.12; UI render: default; VCL: qt6 (cairo+wayland) Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
Created attachment 200991 [details] Screenshot The cursor changes with your system settings. On my Linux/KDE/Breeze environment it looks like this. What I changed for bug 160324 was the hit area (from +/- 2px to +/-5).
Cesar, does this explain your problem?
