Description nobu 2025-05-27 08:49:39 UTC
Description:
"Clear List" and "Current Module Only" are not required in Recent documents of the Basic-IDE.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Basic-IDE.
2. Menu (in Basic-IDE) - File > Recent Documents

Actual Results:
3. "Clear List" and "Current Module Only" appear below the list.

Expected Results:
3. "Clear List" and and "Current Module Only" are not required in the Basic-IDE.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:

I don't think anyone would select this submenu to press "Clear List".
I don't think anyone would choose "Current Module Only" from the IDE in advance for another application.

Eliminating unnecessary menu items should be consistent with the UX philosophy.

Reproducible with

You may think that, but why? If you think that, wouldn't it be more consistent to hide the entire Recent Documents menu in the IDE context?
