Description John 2025-06-07 07:28:14 UTC
Description:
The customization options for the 'contextual single' button bar seems to be in the 'customize' window, in the 'notebookbar' tab. Unchecking buttons does make them vanish from the toolbar. However, checking buttons that don't start checked does not add them. When you hit OK, the window closes, and re-opening it reveals those options are unchanged.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select the 'contextual single' interface from view -> user interface
2.go to tools -> customize. Notebookbar tab.
3.Check buttons that are unchecked to make them appear on the bar.

Actual Results:
The buttons do not appear. Reopening the customize window shows them unchecked again.

Expected Results:
The buttons checked in the notebookbar tab should have become visible on the bar.

Reproducible: Always

Confirmed.

While they appear in the NB Customize panel, the checkbox customization to expose buttons for the NB Contextual Single MUFFIN assemblage do not actually work. Can't add useful controls like New or Open to the Contextual Single NB assemblage.

> Confirmed.

But not new issue with the NB Contextual Single MUFFIN implementation, we had this exact behavior on initial releases of Contextual Single NB customization at 6.4, simply hadn't noticed ;-)
