hi, There would be an easy way to offer "spotlight all". We have so far: Menu / Format / Spotlight / Direct formatting, Paragraph styles, character styles HERE, under "Spotlight/" could be one extra menu item: "spotlight all", or just "all"... If we had that, we users could assign a shortcut to it, and life would be a whole lot of better :) This function -- spotlight -- is AMAZING!! +1, reasonable addition to the Format -> Spotlight menu, or other TB, Menu customization Controls as implemented for bug 38194 and bug 156114 [1] Already done for the SB StyleInspector [2]. But probably needs a new UNO to toggle all 3 together. =-ref-= [1] https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/150451, https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/158055 [2] https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/182716
-1, this is over-engineering. If you want to combine multiple commands into one you should run a macro.

Please explain why it is important enough to do so. i.e. why it is not enough for users to be able to turn on the three different kinds of spotlights separately. You need to convince, that the usability benefit outweighs the encumberance of the UI with another command.
We discussed the topic in the design meeting. While another option would be easy to add (with a tri-state checkbox responding to the individual settings) the envisioned improvement is marginal since the Style Inspector offers the three options as toggle button now. We decided to not support the request therefore. (In reply to Eyal Rozenberg from comment #3) > Please explain why it is important enough to do so... As always, feel free to reopen the ticket.
