Open an empty Calc document. Data → Pivot Table → Insert or Edit… Choose "Datasource registered in Calc". Choose any database, for example internal "Bibiography" and the table "biblio". Next step move some fields from the right to the left - should only create a pivot table. Have a look at submenue "Source and Destination". No source will be shown. "Source" will only show source inside Calc document, not source of registered database. Press "OK" and Pivot Table will be created. Right mouse click on Pivot Table and have a look at "Properties…". No source will be shown. Expected behavior: There should be shown datasource like it will be shown when there has been created a database range in Calc. When creating such a database range and have a look at Data → Define Range… there will be shown the source as "Source:Bibliography/biblio" This buggy behavior appears in Version: 25.2.4.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 33e196637044ead23f5c3226cde09b47731f7e27 CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded but also in all older versions.
I think it's a bug more than enhancement Confirm in Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bd339e1937d12cf7f62276e537bca96e01ef8ae4 CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (build 19045); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
