Hope I understood right. Copied some word into clipboard. Opened a table in Base for editing, not for input data. Clicked with right mouse button in the field "Description" to add the copied words as description for the field of the table. Could add the content here, could save the content. No problem with Version: 25.2.4.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 33e196637044ead23f5c3226cde09b47731f7e27 CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE Calc: threaded Please test with Help → Restart in Safe Mode…. Might also be a special bug with LO and Windows.
HI Robert, you got me right, yes. But the thing is, if I do the actions with the mouse super very fast, then LO will crash. I just tried to do it again very slowly, meaning there are seconds between the left click that selects the window cell of the table in which I like to place the clipboard content as a description into, and the right click to open the pop up for the pasting dialog, then every thing went fine. So, if left click and right click are super narrow in time...that's what caused the problem in Windows. I will test on REDHAT LINUX Fedora V42 now
it appears to be an issue on Windows 8.1 32bit and Windows 10 64bit as well, but not on Linux FEDORA 42
No crash here with right-click and clicking Paste in the context menu as fast as possible. Version: 26.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) Build ID: 680(Build:0) CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
