Description Antonio 2025-06-22 12:41:02 UTC
Description:
Gutter position can be only "Left" or "Top", while user should be allowed to choose "Inner".
When printing both sides, gutter should be left-side for odd pages, while right-side for even pages. In other office application, this is inner gutter.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Format >Page style... >Page
2.Margins Gutter: e.g. 2 cm (set different from other margins)
3.Layout settings: Gutter position: Left {Left|Top}

Actual Results:
Printing on both sides, all pages (odd and even) have gutter on the left side.

Expected Results:
Printing on both sides, gutter is expected to be on the left side on all odd pages and right side on all even pages.

Reproducible: Always

When you set the page layout to "mirrored", then the gutter is on the inner side.

For better wording in the dialog see bug 140561.
