Description rm.pauli 2025-07-16 10:35:54 UTC
Description:
If you include a hyperlink into the comment of a cell, you can't add or edit anything beyond it.

Steps to Reproduce:
Add the comment below to cell A1
(without the quotation marks):
"This is a link: https://de.libreoffice.org/"
and hit RETURN.
The link becomes blue.
Click on A2 for a change.
If you now edit the comment in A1,
you won't get beyond the darn link,
neither with arrows nor mice,
even if text follows the link
(blank x x instead of RETURN).

It allows you to write, but initially you write over the link text; after clicking outside the link, the text is displayed correctly.

Perhaps it has something to do with the formatting of the link text, which uses monospaced characters.
