Description jwstew48 2025-07-19 15:39:13 UTC
Description:
I open a file in Calc. I select the data in any cell. I Copy the data and paste in search box. The program immediately crashes. I have to use Task Manager to close LibreOffice program. When I restart LibreOffice and recover the file it works as designed. I have just upgraded to Windows 11 with LibreOffice release 24.8.7 (x86_64)

Actual Results:
Open LibreOffice Calc and associated file. Select Data in any cell and copy the data to the clipboard. Next, paste the data into the search box. Program will crash. Use Task Manager to restart the LibreOffice and recover the file. Calc works fine.

Expected Results:
The program crashed.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
The software should have done a search for the data on the Calc Sheet

Please attach a sample file, reduce the size as much as possible without private information,
and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is a copy icon.
