Description: to create "free space" in a writer document, i type sometimes CR. since 25.x writer crashes ALL TIME, when there are two or more CR one after another i use windows 10 on intel i5 8 GB RAM Steps to Reproduce: 1. open document 2. write some text 3.press two/more times CR Actual Results: crashes complete Expected Results: two or more empty lines in document Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: i like writer!
I cannot reproduce a crash. Please add info about the installed LibreOffice. To do that, go to Help > About and click on the Version Information button. That puts the info into the clipboard. After that paste it into the bug report. BTW, to create "free space" do not use CR but increase the spacing below paragraph in the paragraph properties, section "Indent & Spacing".
And also you can test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode
Would it be possible you get a backtrace? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#Windows:_How_to_get_a_backtrace)
Oberlehrer: you attached a file with "prel" extension which doesn't help. You didn't respond to comment 2 ("test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Modeand") 4 (get a backtrace - see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#Windows:_How_to_get_a_backtrace -)

Ok you still didn't respond about: "comment 2 ("test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Modeand") 4 (get a backtrace - see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#Windows:_How_to_get_a_backtrace -)" but you provided a screencast of the crash. Would it be possible : 1) you tried what we advised ? 2) you attach the file so we can try to reproduce the pb? (perhaps you'll need to sanitize it before, see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla/Sanitizing_Files_Before_Submission). Also if the pb is specific to this document, you can try to copy paste its content in a brand new file and give a new try.
It's a shame people don't try to make an effort when they require some help. => uncc myself
