Description: Whenever I install LibreOffice for Windows either from scratch or upgrading an existing installation, the installation process can take anywhere from 30-90 minutes, varying each time. Monitoring resource usage via Process Explorer often shows long periods of no resource activity, specifically no cpu or i/o usage at all. This happens on a fresh Windows 11 installation, or even on a machine that's been used for years. Built-in Windows Antivirus real-time protection is always disabled during install - but this happens with or without AV disabled. Steps to Reproduce: Download latest installation from LibreOffice website and execute. Actual Results: Installation duration takes a very long time Expected Results: Installation should be under 15 minutes. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 25.2.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 03d19516eb2e1dd5d4ccd751a0d6f35f35e08022 CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (10.0 build 22631); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: threaded

More than 13.5 minutes for an NVME drive (and a system SSD drive) is indeed too much. However, I couldn't find anything outstanding in the log, unfortunately. There seems to be no gaps in some specific places - just very slow IO (or, rather, uniform big gaps between all file operations, which presumably mean slow IO). In IRC, we had some discussion; and found nothing particular that could cause this. I am still under an impression, that some system component must be involved, that slows things down; but AV is reported disabled, and the MSI Internet zone identifier is unblocked before installation, so I got no clue what could be the reason. :-(
I can not reproduce the issue. About 4:30 reinstalling, and about a 1', with a new clean install : Version: 26.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 49279f6a01c4f07b723072c068a9c1eab5b7f292 CPU threads: 16; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: es-ES (es_ES); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded
