My test installation of 25.8.0.2 was allowed to overwrite the previous 25.2.4.
I can hardly believe it, but actually I get always offered the template path set under >Options>Paths when I try to save a new document in place of the 'My Documents' path. 
Neither the chosen document path nor the last used destination path are regarded.
This is the case for the standard user profile as well as for an additional profile which I keep "clean" (without macros).

The Dev version 25.8.0.0.beta1 did not show this issue.
