Description pspanya 2025-08-05 16:44:00 UTC
Description:
Libreoffice Writer:
Space between paragraphs does not change when switching between text body style and default paragraph style.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a new clean writer doc.
2. Create some paragraphs with Default Paragraph Style
3. Set 1st paragraph to Body Text
4. Set the paragraph to Default Paragraph Style

Actual Results:
In #3 Sidebar shows the paragraph is Body Text and and below paragraph spacing: 0.08. But no space added.
In #4 Sidebar shows the paragraph is Default Paragraph Style and below paragraph spacing: 0.0. No spacing changed.

Expected Results:
Adding a space below a paragraph.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Now I have found that applying the paragraph to H1 first and then Body Text (or Default Paragraph Style),

And spaces are applied correctly.

I just try LibreOffice 25.8 RC2 and the problem seems disappear now!

Seems it is an update issue.
Menu>Tools>Update>Update All
redraw it.

Thank you, I have used that "Update All" recently (for updating 2 TOCs in 1 doc and still have to up the 1st one manually).
But the problem still went on till I use 25.8 RC2. Then the problem have disappeared.
And hope it never comes back again :)

Ps. Sorry for my English.
