Description:
I absolutely apologize for the worst bug report probably ever filed, and it probably has no value to you whatsoever as far as troubleshooting, but all I can say is that using a Calc document I had to force quit LO several times yesterday. I won't share the file because it's personal, but I'll describe it as multi-tab, heavily formatted and only 48k, but I don't think that's the issue.

Here are the conditions at the time:
--Win 11 with 125% magnification
--A desktop-based AI text-to-image generator working in the background
--Two monitors, one showing the AI tool, the other the spread sheet
--Monitor with the spreadsheet also showing a 6-tabbed Windows Explorer window

Moving between the monitors, between the ai tool, the explorer window, and the spreadsheet, every time I left the spreadsheet and came back to it, the window would not show. It would select in the task bar, but never show.

Then LO would crash, but with no document in the dialog showing what file crashed (only had one open), and then I could not re-launch LO. Suspecting it might still be running, sure enough, that's what Task Manager indicated, so I force-quit the app from there.

Several times.

Eventually relaunching LO brought up the recovery window, and the whole crash-show-nothing process would start over.

Again, I realize that's way too many variables to isolate cause and effect, but functioning with this exact same workflow under 25.8.0.2 not once produced this problem, so I uninstalled 8.0.3, reinstalled 8.0.2, no problems.

If I see this happening under 8.0.2 I'll try to cut down on a few things to see what the problem is and clarify in this bug report.

Wish I could be of more help on this. The crashes were consistent and annoying, so I was motivated so say something.

There will be a 25.8.0.4 release, likely end of the week. Please try it then again. Thank you for testing a release candidate.

I've resumed my workflow using

Version: 25.8.0.4 (X86_64)
Build ID: 48f00303701489684e67c38c28aff00cd5929e67
CPU threads: 24; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26100); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

and after a half hour or so, no problems, and I suspect .04 would've repeated .03's issues by now. I'll flag this works for me, and if something else pops up later, I'll start a new thread.
Thanks.
